In early 2011, everyone was very excited about the upcoming new handheld game console from Sony, which at that time was the code name Sony NGP, or Sony’s Next Generation Portable. In June 2011, during the Expo E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo), held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Sony announced that the official name for the new handheld gaming console would be PlayStation Vita, also known as PS Vita, sometimes written as Playstation Vita no space between PS and Vita said.
